Lurie finds the shift from sculpture to jewelry a natural one..."my rings in
particular, are simply tiny sculptures, made to be worn". He works in lost
wax mostly, an ideal medium for a sculptor, and at present is making only
one ring at a time, the next one due to be shown soon. It is also a natural
drifting and growing shape, (see the one on display here, similar in price),
featuring a central blue purple tanzanite stone representing the earth, held
by a tree woman, highlighted by star-like diamonds, nestled in whitegold.

progress as it could be sized to fit.
Note: In keeping with his sensitivity to the precious materials needed for
his work, Lurie seeks out high quality recycled gold and stones whenever
possible, reworking them into his artful "revivals". Stone certifications
of quality and authenticity are available upon request.
